Workshops & Training

Bridging Peoples provides on-site, face-to-face training for government, the business community and NGOs.

Backed by almost two decades’ experience and up-to-date research, workshops are practical and outcomes-driven, designed to help participants understand and apply the principles of people-centred development and community engagement in their work.

Good project design happens when we bring together technical expertise with a strong understanding of the local context. This is why applied research is at the core of what we do.
But we don’t stop there. We also provide strategic consulting and training services to help you improve the impact of your work at the local level.

One-Day Workshops

Our workshops on People-Centred Aid & Development are designed for government, NGOs and the private sector engaged in international aid & development, and are appropriate for staff who are responsible for designing or delivering aid & development programs.

Participants learn the principles of people-centred development, gaining practical tools and strategies that they can apply in their programming and engagement with local partners. No two workshops are exactly alike, as sessions are tailored to fit with in-house training and organisational priorities. Contact us to find out more.

Three-Day Training COURSE

Our flagship Working With Communities 3-day course is designed for project managers and staff whose work requires some element of engaging, mobilising, and/or organising community members.

Participants are taken through a structured program of seminars, exercises and small group discussions to learn fundamental ideas and concepts, and analyse their levels of engagement across the project life-cycle.

By the end of the course, participants will have identified specific areas for improvement, and practical strategies that they can apply in their work. Workshops are participatory to cater for different learning styles, and group size is set to 12-20 people to allow maximum participation. Contact us to find out more.
